Boko Haram terrorists detonated
Improvised Explosive Device, IED, in Maiduguri on Tuesday killing at least 7
persons. The attack was said to have been targeted at security operatives in
the area. According to the report, residents of Molai and Damboa road are
fleeing their homes owing to the development. “During Abacha era, nobody can do
this nonsense, even during Obasanjo, we still can recall the Odi case,” one of
the residents said.
The resident , name withheld said, “these
bad elements, Boko Haram members are living in Sambisa, I don’t know why
government is still handling this crises with soft glooves. From Konduga to
Yankari government should comb the area and approach it with serious military
action, not even a bird should be left to fly. If that happens, nobody would
hear any sound of bomb blast again. Most of the elders served this country in
different capacities and are well placed in the society. They have links with
so many people, unless they are ganging up against the President, to stop his
reelection, because we were told that some powerful people promised him hell
when he came to power, perhaps it is the hell that we are living in now, but
why the masses?.”
