Dad lets 10-year-old boy drive while he is sitting next to him drinking a beer

 

In Bloemfontein, the Capital City of the Free state Province in South Africa authorities couldn't believe their eyes when a car was pulled over and a 10yr old boy was the driver while the was sitting next to him, drinking a beer. There was also a baby with them in the car at the time. According to a traffic department spokesperson, officers on duty noticed the Toyota Corolla was driving erratically and pulled it over. The boy was apparently sitting on a cushion, and was not wearing a seat belt. According to Volksblad, the father told officials that the child wanted to drive, and he had agreed. The father was fined R1000 for allowing a minor to drive without a license, and a further R750 because the car's license had expired. The car was impounded until the fines were paid. What a role model that poor boy has as a father.
