Iconic TV Psychic Miss Cleo Dead At 53


The famous television psychic Miss Cleo has died at the age of 53.

Cleo, whose name is actually Youree Harris, advertised on the air for her Psychic Readers Network from 1997 to 2003 telling viewers to “Call me now!” for psychic advice and tarot readings. Viewers would call in to ask questions about the future or things they were unsure of, like who was the father of their child.
Cleo, who had a Jamaican accent but was actually from Los Angeles, also worked a number of other jobs, including as a car dealership spokeswoman, a spokeswoman for Fuse Network and as the voice of a character in the video game “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City,” according to Daily News.
Cleo had been suffering from colon cancer for some time before passing away on Tuesday. The disease had spread to her liver and lungs. According to TMZ, she died in a hospice care center in Palm Beach County, Florida.
