The 15-time Grammy Award winner already gave us life with the release of her new song, “In Common,” and now she is hoping to make a move that inspires everyone around the world!
Keys recently showed up to a photoshoot for her album when photographer, Paola Kudacki, surprised her by saying “I have to shoot you right now, like this!” And by like this, she meant no make up, and fresh out of the gym. Her reasoning?

Keys describes the moment that she did the bare-faced photoshoot as empowering.
“It was the strongest, most empowered, most free, and honestly beautiful that I have ever felt … I felt powerful because my initial intentions realized themselves. My desire to listen to myself, to tear down the walls I built over all those years, to be full of purpose, and to be myself!”
YES GIRL!
She loved the moment so much that she is genuinely hopeful this will create a movement amongst not only women, but all individuals who feel they have something to hide.
“I hope to God it’s a revolution … Cause I don’t want to cover up anymore. Not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my thoughts, not my dreams, not my struggles, not my emotional growth. Nothing.”
