5 Storey Building Collapses in Lekki Leaving 4 Dead

Five persons have reportedly died and many others feared trapped after a five storey-building collapsed at Lekki Phase one on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at Chisco bus stop, opposite Oando Gas Station.
Initial rescue efforts had succeeded in rescuing four alive, with just one casualty.
However, that was to change minutes later as some of the survivors later died from injuries sustained from incident.
Confirming the incident, the South-west Zonal Spokesperson for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, said four people have been confirmed dead and five alive.
He said, “The 5 storey building collapsed at Chisco bustop opposite Oando Lekki phase One. Rescue Operations are ongoing.
