Maj. Gen. Lincoln Ogunewe, Nigeria’s Military Adviser to the United Nations has been unanimously elected the Dean of Military and Police Advisers Community (MPAC) in New York. The UN Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that with this election that took place on Sunday, Ogunewe becomes the first African to be so elected in 19 years of the association. He took over the mantle of leadership from Col. Nattawut Sabyeroop of Thailand who handed over the Dean’s gravel and symbol of authority. Big Congrats to him.
