Wendy Williams in an interview with Barbara Walters last Thursday on the View explained why she wept while talking about how her son has been acting lately and why she feels her son doesn’t like her. Please continue after cut .......................
She explained the tears from her frustration when she asks Kevin Jr. to clean up and he doesn't. She says: “He’s too big for me to spank him because otherwise I’d crack his skull like I used to.” “The gravitation towards his father is a natural thing,” she said. “They both have an affection for sneakers, fast cars, good haircuts. She said that her son later came down to her to let her know how he really feels about her. She said; “He came down to my dressing room and was like, ‘Mommy, I love you. You are so cool”. “And I’m trying to disrobe and he’s like, ‘Mommy, I don’t have time to leave the room. I need to say this to you now so you understand.’ So I say, ‘Kevin, this is the thing. I guess I just got emotional over something I probably should’ve shared with you earlier." She believed her tearful display may have opened up the lines of communication between them.
But just in case anyone was left with the wrong impression, Wendy says, “We’re still close. Our relationship is not fractured". “He’s a good boy. We have an excellent relationship; there is no favorite parent.”
