It doesn’t seem like Karl Lagerfeld has much sympathy for Kim Kardashianafter her scary gunpoint robbery earlier this week in Paris, France.
“It’s a very bad thing for Paris. But I don’t understand why she was in a hotel with no security … If you are that famous and you put all your jewelry on [social media], you go to hotels where nobody can come near to the room,” Karl, the 83-year-old creative director of Chanel, told Reuters (via NBC News).
“You cannot display your wealth and then be surprised that some people want to share it with you,” Karl added.
