Nollywood actress and producer, Mary Njoku is ready to launch a brand new channel on Sky TV in the UK, called Rok Studios come September 29, 2016. Rok Studios is popular for originals like “Husbands of Lagos,” “Desperate Housegirls,” “Losing Control” and “Cougars.” The new channel for Sky customers in the UK, will bring the latest and best Rok Studios-produced TV shows, movies and magazine shows to all Sky customers 24/7. More details on the TV launch, reveal that Rok on Sky, will be available as a free-to-view channel for all Sky subscribers, and will air shows including “Single Ladies” ,”Banks Chronicles” and “Bloodline,” “Walking Away”, “Aso Ebi” and “Forever.”

The opening of the TV channel has been arranged to go along with the celebration of Nigeria’s 56th Independence Day anniversary. Rok on Sky will launch on September 29, followed by a Gala launch in London at 8 Northumberland on September 30. 2016. The event will be attended by Nollywood actors including Alexx Ekubo, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, John Dumelo, Oge Okoye, Mercy Aigbe gentry, Ini Edo, Rich Tanksley, Annie Idibia, Yul Edochie, Jackie Appiah, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Patience Ozokwor, Segun Arinze and Funke Akindele.
