João Havelenge, 100, who was the Former FIFA President, has died. He was the seventh FIFA president and served between 1974 and 1998. He resigned as Fifa’s honorary president in April 2013 following an investigation into bribery allegations and was admitted to hospital the following year with a lung infection. He was also a member of the International Olympics Committee (IOC) from 1963 to 2011. May his soul rest in peace Amen.
