Comedian Okey Bakassi Lose Father-In-Law

Handsome, Intelligent and caring "Papa", in 1994 when medical experts predicted you had only 8months to live, you defied the odds and lived extra 22years... ...Long enough for you and mummy (Boma) to give the hands of your first daughter, Ezinne, to me in marriage. You were with us till you gave out your daughters; Nwakerendu and Sodienye in marriage. Your 7 grand children and sons inlaw were privileged to enjoy the warmth of your love. You have been more than a father to me since I lost my dad more than 10yrs ago. We were rattled when you became very ill 2weeks ago. But like the Lion that you were, you fought back death until we celebrated your 70th birthday by your hospital bedside. You shook my hands and smiled when I left your bedside on Wednesday to return to Nigeria from Canada.... I didn't know it would be the last.... You have finally gone to rest with the Lord, whom you served diligently. We will continue to love you.
