The kingdom of Ubulu-Uku in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State has got a new traditional ruler, replacing slain monarch, Obi Akaeze Edward Ofulue III, who was found dead last month after being kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The new monarch, Obi Chukwuka Noah Akaeze I, is the 15-year-old son of the murdered monarch.

Akaeze I was on Friday, after fulfilling the various rites, presented to the council of elders at the palace.
Before the public presentation, the king was upon being crowned, first presented to his family.
The presentation was attended by the member representing Aniocha/Oshimili constituency at the House of Representatives, Mrs Onyemechi Mrakpor; the Chairman of Aniocha South LGA, Mr Isaac Anwuzia; the President-General of Ubulu-Uku Development Union, Comrade Jones Ofunne, and other dignitaries.
Also in attendance were traditional chiefs and title holders in the kingdom, market women, youths and other stakeholders in the community.
The new king is expected to be presented with his staff of office soon.
