Method actress Stacey Dash ofClueless fame announced on Wednesday it's "ludicrous" to protest the Academy Awards over this year's acting nominees all being white. "We have to make up our minds," the fox new contributor said on fox & friends. "Either we want to have segregation or integration, and if we don't want segregation, then we have to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards, where you're only awarded if you're black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms." She also said that since there isn't a "White History Month," then there "shouldn't be a Black History Month. We're Americans, period. BET Networks CEO Debra Lee quickly responded, saying in a statement: "Through our award shows and programming we have recognized incredible talent that simply does not get recognized elsewhere. African American contributions to American culture are countless and we cannot and should not wait for anyone to acknowledge them."Bet also got in a few digs on social media , first tweeting the link to a story called "Every Time Stacey Dash Proved She Was Clueless," then asking Dash if she'd be returning the check she received from the network for appearing on its show The Game.
