President Muhammadu Buhari Lands In Malta
President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has landed in Malta to take part in the 2015 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting which commences on Friday, November 27.
Nigerian president and other heads of state and government who will be in Malta for this year’s summit are expected to deliberate on fresh Commonwealth initiatives on development and climate change with a view to adding greater quantity to current world efforts in these areas.

President Buhari plans to leave Malta for Paris on Sunday where he would present Nigeria’s statement at the United Nations Climate Change Conference billed to open in the French capital on Monday, November 30.
Nigerians have criticized their leader over frequent foreign trips as the country faces myriad crises, from intractable fuel scarcity to terrorist attacks in the northeast.
Buhari spent more than 40 days in trips to different parts of the world since he was inaugurated on May 29.
However, in comparison with former president Goodluck Jonathan the incumbent leader didn’t take huge numbers of aides and other political figures as part of his entourage.
