Le bron james might be going Hollywood. The 6ft 8in Cleveland Cavaliers’ star, James, now owns a mansion “fit for a king in the City of Angels”, as per ESPN reports. King James splashed not a nickel less than $21 million for an “East Coast-style mansion on a plum block in an uber-pricey pocket of L.A.’s Brentwood community,” notes the variety magazine.

The humongous 9,350 square feet mansion is designed by specialist Ken Ungar, and has architecturally asymmetrical six-bedrooms and seven-bathrooms. Now, interesting speculations have started making the rounds and if rumors are to be believed, the decision to move to LA could possibly be an indication of James’ potential interest in playing for the Los Angeles Lakers or Los Angeles Clippers.
But the ESPN sources state, “This is not a basketball decision,” the source said. “He enjoys L.A. as a vacation spot and as a place to relax in the offseason.” James is associated with Warner Brothers, Disney and Starz, and also runs his own production company, SpringHill Entertainment, which are all based in the L.A. area. Taking all these commitments into consideration, moving to L.A. does not seem a bad decision.
Sources also add, “His entertainment business interests are continuing to expand, and it gives him a place to conduct business from in the off-season too.”
Back in August, James sold his 17,000-square foot mansion in Coconut Grove, Florida at a staggering selling price of $13.4 million.
According to the Variety magazine, the mansion has everything that one could imagine. The magazine notes that the stone and white brick-clad mansion has fireplaces and “honey-toned wide-plank wood floors”, “cook-friendly kitchen fitted with slab marble back splashes”, “deep verandas for al fresco lounging and dining”, and “a lap-lane swimming pool, open air cabana, and long, slender deck with panoramic sunset views over mansion-dotted mountains.”
