An African Named FIFA Acting President

Issa Hayatou, 69, is from Cameroon and a former athlete. He is the president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). He replaces Sepp Blatter after he was suspended yesterday for 90 days following corruption allegations. Blatter has been stripped of all duties pending an investigation. Hayatou takes over as senior vice president of FIFA. Big congrats to him!
