Upon collecting the handover notes from outgoing President Jonathan this morning, President-elect, Buhari spoke highly of President Jonathans courage and his love for Nigeria for accepting defeat. In his speech he said: "You have earned yourself a place in Nigeria's history for stabilizing our democracy. If you wanted to make things difficult, you could have but you didn't and for that, you have won the respect of world leaders."
