The Rev. Dr Martin Luther King Day is an American federal holiday celebrated on the third Monday of January. On this day we celebrate the life and achievements of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., the American civil rights leader. He is know for his non-violent protests to end racial segregation on public transport and for racial equality in the United States. His most famous address was the "I Have A Dream" speech and he became the youngest man to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. He was assassinated in 1968. Happy birthday Mr King, you changed America.
