Pope Francis: "Freedom Of Speech A Right And Duty We Must Display Without Offending"

His Holiness Pope Francis, 78, has condemned any killing in God’s name, but also insisted there were limits to freedom of speech and said other people’s religion could not be insulted or mocked. He said that  each religion has its dignity’ and ‘there are limits.’ In his own words, he said;
“There is a limit,“Every religion has its dignity. I cannot mock a religion that respects human life and the human person.”One cannot offend, make war, kill in the name of one’s own religion, that is, inthe name of God,” To kill in the name of God is an aberration.” “If [a close friend] says a swear word against my mother, he’s going to get a punch in the nose,”“One cannot provoke, one cannot insult other people’s faith, one cannot make fun of faith.” “Freedom of speech is a right and a duty that must be displayed without offending.”
