On Trying To Surprise His Girl In Italy, One Of Tiger Wood's Front Teeth Gets Knocked Out

Tiger Woods walks in the finish area of an alpine ski, women's World Cup super-G, in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, Monday, Jan. 19, 2015. Lindsey Vonn won a super-G Monday for her record 63rd World Cup victory and celebrated with an embrace from a surprise visitor boyfriend Tiger Woods. The American broke Annemarie Moser-Proell's 35-year-old record of 62 World Cup wins with a flawless run down the Olympia delle Tofane course, finishing 0.85 ahead of Anna Fenninger of Austria. Tiger Wood's agent Mark Steinberg had said that Woods is a victim of an overly aggressive media corps. He showed up in Italy today apparently missing a tooth, to surprise his girlfriend Lindsey Vonn on the occasion of her record-setting World Cup performance. Steinberg said in a statement to the AP to explain what we are seeing in the picture that, "During a crush of photographers as the awards podium at the World Cup event in Italy, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera pushed and surged toward the stage, turned and hit Tiger Woods in the mouth, Woods' tooth was knocked out by the incident." Woods is scheduled to tee it up at next week's Waste Management Open in Phoenix.
