Did Solange attack Jay Z because of Rihanna?

The story coming out from the attack on Jay Z is that Solange got upset after Jay Z said he was off to party with Rihanna and not going with her or his wife Beyoncé. According to The New York Daily News, at the Met Gala Solange was a little bit tiddly and her and her friends kept attaching themselves to Jay-Z. A source said Solange's pals “wouldn't leave and kept name dropping Jay Z. They were pretending they were guests of his and not hers. Management went to Julius (Beyonce's bodyguard) and said there's a problem.”
This reportedly prompted Jay to ask Solange to ‘not use his name’ at which point she is believed to have snapped and stormed off, saying she was going home. Jay-Z meanwhile had planned to go out to an after party held by Rihanna (who is after all, signed to his label) and told his security he wouldn’t need them as Beyonce didn’t want to come with them. Bey’s little sis was reportedly “drunk and irritated” and said: “Why can't you go home?” telling Beyonce “Why does your husband need to go to the club right now?'” But Jay replied: “You're one to talk", and it was this fateful comment that kicked off the huge barney in the lift.
