At 55, Prince Covers June Issue of "Essence" Mag, Talks About Use Of Profanity In Music

Full post after cut ...................
Prince Rogers Nelson, known by his mononym Prince, at 55 is musical icon known for his raunchy lyrics has decided that he no longer wants to use profanity put to music. "Did you ever hear Muhammad Ali curse?" he reportedly tells People. "Would you curse in front of your kids? To your mother?"  His squeaky clean image is a far cry from the Prince of the past who performed songs like "Erotic City" and "P---y Control."

"Marsha (Ambrosius), Lianne (La Havas), Janelle (Monae)," he continued. "They're all my sisters. We shouldn't curse at them. We need to treat all of them, and all people, like royalty." This, of course from a man who just won the rights to all of his music where he cusses a b*tch out consistently in damn near every one of his songs. I wonder if he'll still take those coins from that music...?

I love when people get rich off of $hit they eventually find "wrong"... conflicted and hypocritical much? I'm all for growth, but why do they always seem to grow after they've made all the money they can make?
