Malawi's President to Madonna: ' Learn the Decency of Telling the Truth '

Full post after cut .......................

Madonna adopted two kids from Malawi and tells the whole world how much she loves that country, but how does its President feel about her? The president of the East African nation Malawi accused Madonna of everything from "blackmailing and bullying" to making inappropriate music. She angered President Joyce Banda after, among other things, she failed to follow through on promises to build schools in Malawi.
"Among the many things that Madonna needs to learn as a matter of urgency is the decency of telling the truth," says President Banda in her 11-point press release. "For her to tell the whole world that she is building schools in Malawi when she has actually only contributed to the construction of classrooms is not compatible with manners of someone who thinks she deserves to be revered with state grandeur. The difference between a school and a class room should be the most obvious thing for a person demanding state courtesy to decipher."
President Banda also took offense to the fact that Madonna complained about following routine check-in procedure at the local airport. The President insists the pop star deserves no special reatment. The singer wrote her a handwritten note requesting to visit with her and President Banda refused, which made Madonna's reps complain to the press.
