Misao Okawa the world's oldest Japanese woman turns 116 today

The world's oldest woman, Misao Okawa turns 116 today. The Japanese celebrated her 116th birthday at Kurenai Nursing home in Osaka, Japan. She was born in Tenma, Osaka on March 5, 1898 when Queen Victoria was still on the throne in England and the Spanish-American war was taking place. She had three children of which two still alive, and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Okawa eats three large meals a day and sleeps eight hours a night. She also has never had any major illness in her lifetime. Her happiest moments include marrying her husband in 1919 and giving birth to her three children. Okawa says that her secret is: "Eat, sleep, and you will live a long time. You have to learn to relax." UOReports wishing you happiness, more success and all of life's best everyday of the year.
