Former TV judge Joe Brown has been released from jail after a courtroom fight Monday in Memphis. He was sentenced by a juvenile court judge to 5 days for contempt of court. Judge Brown who is running for District attorney claims that jailing him was just another "dirty politics." His lawyer got him bail and he was released on his own recognizance. The judge who sent Brown to jail is not backing down, saying he demands dignity and respect in the courtroom, adding Brown acted in a contemptuous manner.
