Happy to be alive and finally home, Nigerian President Jonathan's rescued uncle says

The Nigerian police rescued Mr. Nengote Nitabai, 70, Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan’s uncle who was kidnapped on Sunday, Feb. 23 after 18 days. He was freed in Odioma community, Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa. He was freed unharmed and was reunited with his family. Mr. Nengote Nitabai said he was very happy to be alive and home with his family. According to him, he was blindfolded throughout the 18-day period and was moved from one location to the other. He said his abductors fed him Garri and Oil daily, that the ordeal was simply horrendous. Incase you missed the story, click here. Mr. Okpara said six suspects including a traditional ruler believed to be the father of the leader of the kidnap gang were arrested in connection with the abduction.
