Going! going!! gone!!!, President Jonathan finally fires Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan last Wednesday fired the Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah. With the controversy surrounding the minister’s approval of 255 million Naira for the purchase of two bullet-proof cars, there was a public outrage in the country and many Nigerians calling for the president to fire and prosecute her. It finally happened. Other cabinet members affected were Caleb Olubolade (Police Affairs); Godsday Orubebe (Niger Delta); and Yerima Ngama (State, Finance).
