The British film's academy " Rising Star Award " nominated Mexican born, Kenyan raised and American educated Lupita Nyong'o. She graduated from Yale university school of drama's acting program. Her debut was when she played Patsey in 12 years a slave in 2013, she is also in MTV's drama series Shuga. Good luck girl !!!!. The winner will be by public vote and announced Feb 16th 2014 during the Academy awards which is the american Oscars.
