Omarosa Named Trump's Director of African American Outreach

Donald Trump Omarosa
Omarosa Manigault, 42,  has been named Trump’s Director of African American Outreach. The reality TV star is one of the most recognizable faces from Trump’s popular Apprentice reality TV series. She broke the news to MSNBC on Monday. Full post after cut....................

“It happened this week,” she said. “It’s really an extension of the work that the [National Diversity Coalition for Trump] has already been doing and so I’m very happy to take up that cause for Donald Trump.” Omarosa has taken a pivotal role in Trump’s campaign since the beginning by reaching out to prominent black clergy leaders who share Trump’s conservative views.

She brings much needed diversity to a presidential campaign that has so far struck out with black voters. A poll in Ohio, where the Republican National Convention is currently being held, shows Trump receiving 0 percent of the black vote. But Omarosa doesn’t put much weight on random polls. She noted there are many conservative blacks around the country who will be voting for Trump. “I wonder who they polled,” she laughed.
